During the congress in Erasmus+ Eurekorpus project we had the chance to have a workshop of dance. All the pupils and the teachers gathered in the sports hall where they met the dance teacher, ArtoPetjala. At the beginning he asked the pupils and the teachers from each country if they danced and what kind of dances. Then he told them what they were going to do during that dance session. . They started with some warm up exercises which are mandatory before any sports session then he taught them some basic dance movements. Then they repeated together for a few times with or without music. He gradually added some new movements to the first ones so as to have a longer dance sequence. Then there was a 5 minutes break to drink some water and then a new dance session began. Among the dance styles that he tried to teach everybody there were street dance and salsa. At the end of the programme he had everybody dance their traditional Finnish dance, the Pinguin Dance.
The participants in the Erasmus project, teachers and students together went to the bowling centre from Kajaani. They split into groups and played for an hour. They did some exercise by playing this game with great fun. Teachers and students played the game, realized that doing some physical exercise is always good for their health, no matter what that physical exercise that is.
