Thestudentswerefirstintroducedtheconcept of COP, whicactuallystandsfor “Conference of Parties” and refers to the annual negotiations held under the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change, the first one dating back to 1995. It is an international gathering whose main purpose is to decide policies vital to the health of our planet since we live under the threat of global warming and thus save its biodiversity alongside its inhabitants.
First the students saw some posters made by the students on the topic of recycling and saving the planet, fighting against global warming. Then they watched a short video with the legend of the hummingbird which wanted to teach them that even if we have the impression that what we do as individuals does not matter, it surely does. After watching the video the students received some canvas, paintbrushes and paints and they were told that they had to paint either an Erasmus scene or something related with COP 24.
