The workshop took place in the chemistry laboratory therefore the students got overalls to wear during the workshop. First the students were told to write their names under the Petri dish they had on their tables. Then they were asked to put 100 ml of water in a beaker and then to add 2 ml of glycerine and then shake. After thatthey had to gradually add 5g of Maïzena while continuing to shake. Then thy had to heat that mixture until it became translucent. When it became translucent, they cotinued to heat it over low heat while shaking for 10 minutes. Then they poured that mixture, which was still hot and liquid, into the Petri dish and placed it in the freezer for 24 hours. Once the film is dry it can be peeled off.
