Students participated in a sports afternoon and were divided into teams of four which included 1 English, 1 Spanish and 2 French students. Teams were given different coloured bibs to participate in a mini sports tournament which included Handball and Basketball.
Students took part in warm up exercises with their teams in preparation. This helped to assess students current level of fitness and to allow students bodies to become used to an increased level of physical activity. Students were then instructed on the rules of each game. Each basketball game lasted 8 minutes and each handball game was 5 minutes. Each team were to play each other and the leading teams for both sports would play in a final to decide upon a winner. There were many games played and each team were very competitive, especially when encouraged by their peers. When teams were not playing they encouraged the other players and also helpfully reminded the referee of the score!
