SMFI19 SCIENCE, ENVIRONMENT PETOLA FINNISH CARNIVORE SPECIES
The Finnish, Romanian and French students have seen a short documentary movie about four wild animals which live in the forest of Kainuuand Kuhmoregion. Then the students, were divided in four groups for each animal. They had to study the things presented in the interactive expositions to know more things about those animals: detailed information on the behaviour, movements, habitats, anatomy, they listened to the sounds they make, recognisetheir tracks. Eachteam presented their colleagues the information they had, they asked questions or came up with other information.
Students discovered four Finnish large carnivores, learned to work as a team together and to speak in front of many people. They had the chance to exercise their language skills and learn more new words in the field of nature and animals.
