Students worked in groups walking around the school with a ‘green mind” observing different aspects of what the school. The groups had to record what the school was doing correctly to save energy and recycle waste. They also had to note areas that the school needs to improve on. Particular areas included, lights, waste, paper water and recycling, After their walk round the school the students worked in groups, produced a poster showing their findings and then presenting them to the rest of the students.
The students found out that too many lights were left on, and too much paper was used for photocopying. The school however has good recycling bins around the school for plastic, paper and books.
