The students first dressed in the appropriate work wear needed to work in a kitchen.
They then entered the kitchen and were given a talk by the teacher about the kitchen, the training and then were given some breadto sample. They witnessed some of the students in training showing them how to make a cocktail and how to serve a coffee(barista.)
The students were shown an area of the school where they were growing their own vegetables and herbs and listened to an explanation from the teacher in charge.
The school was promoting sustainable development in their application for a Green School. They had carefully planted certain aromatic plants so not to to attract insects to the garden. They had a compost bin so this could be used in the future.
