SMGB19 Humanity Visit York
That was an opportunity to visit the minster and the crypt from York, to discover the cultural heritage from a UNESCO city. The students had to think about the importance of the place and the effects of the religious practice in the mind. Pupils visited the city by foot in order to discover York.
English, French and Spanish students began to visit the minster with their pen friend, they discovered the richness of decorations and the peaceful atmosphere from this cathedral.
In the crypt, the excavations revealed part of the Roman structure and columns , which were very impressive.
After, we had a discussion about the effect of the religious practice on our mind. They could be reassured when they follow the religious values.
Thanks to friendship for visiting the most important places from this historic walled city.
